Kalfus & Nachman PC is proud to congratulate Paul R. Hernandez on being named President-Elect of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association for the 2026-2027 term.
The Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA) is the leading organization for plaintiff trial attorneys who represent individuals and families throughout the Commonwealth. Paul’s selection reflects his standing in Virginia’s legal community, his commitment to the civil justice system, and his continued leadership on behalf of clients and fellow trial lawyers.
A Career Built on Client Advocacy
Paul has long been known for his direct, practical approach to personal injury litigation. As President-Elect at Kalfus & Nachman PC, he represents clients in serious injury matters and works closely with our legal team to help Virginians understand their rights, prepare their cases, and pursue the compensation they deserve.
“I view myself not only as a client’s lawyer, but as their advisor, friend, and equal.” — Paul R. Hernandez
A Virginia native, Paul brings deep local roots to his work. He earned his undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University and attended law school at Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, with time spent as a visiting student at the College of William and Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law.
His leadership also extends beyond the courtroom. Paul has served on the VTLA Executive Council, appeared on local television programs to discuss legal issues in plain language, and worked with the Casey Feldman Foundation to educate students about the dangers of distracted driving.
Continuing Our Commitment to Virginia Clients
Paul’s new role with VTLA is a meaningful honor for him and for our firm. It also reflects the same values that guide our work every day: strong advocacy, honest communication, and service to the people and communities we represent.
Please join us in congratulating Paul on this well-deserved recognition.
