While the Volkswagen recall doesn't pose any danger to cars or their

As of right now, Volkswagen hasn't provided a solution or even a plan for owners waiting for compensation or wishing to turn in their vehicles.

It's important to note, however, that you should not be responsible for failed emissions tests.
