As Super Bowl LIX approaches, Kalfus & Nachman is proud to announce the continuation of its Safe Ride Home Program, which is dedicated to ensuring community members have a safe journey home after the game. For over ten years, this initiative has provided hundreds of complimentary rides, underscoring the firm's commitment to public safety. Super Bowl Sunday has historically seen a significant increase in alcohol-related traffic incidents. Studies indicate that drunk driving crashes spike on Super Bowl Sunday, with a notable increase in fatalities compared to other Sundays. To combat this alarming trend, the Safe Ride Home Program offers reimbursement for taxi and rideshare services up to $35.00 in the 757-area code and Northern Virginia. Key details include:
  • Eligibility: participants must be 21 or older.
  • Time Frame: Rides must occur between 6:30 PM EST and midnight on February 9, 2025.
  • Trip Criteria: Rides should be from a bar or restaurant to a residence.
  • Reimbursement: submit your receipt to Kalfus & Nachman at 870 N. Military Highway, Suite 300, Norfolk, VA 23502.
