Can I Trust The Insurance Company To Treat Me Fairly?

If you’ve been involved in an accident, you already have quite a lot to deal with. Whether it’s getting medical attention, fixing your cars, or figuring out how to pay your bills while you’re out of work, you have a lot of problems to solve.

The last thing any of us expect is when someone who is supposed to be on our side goes against us. This was the case for one of our clients who had to go to trial against his own insurance company.

After he was involved in a motorcycle accident, our client had to seek insurance coverage from his own uninsured motorist policy. This was because the other driver did not have any insurance at all. So being the responsible person he was he had already purchased uninsured motorist coverage to help protect him from these issues. But his own insurance company refused to treat him fairly and cover the accident. They actually took the side of the other driver and even defended that opinion in court, against him. We had to prove to them and the jury during trial that our client was not at fault and the insurance company owed our client for the uninsured motorist coverage policy that he paid for.
