Kalfus & Nachman Furry Friends

Each month the Portsmouth Humane Society picks a pet and we promote it. The firm also pays for all adoption fees for that pet. Check out each month's spotlighted pet!

"Kalfus & Nachman has been a great friend to Portsmouth Humane Society! The firm shares a adoptable pet in its newsletters each month and covers the adoption fee, sponsors our fundraising events, and makes donations of much needed supplies. Recently, they dropped off a *ton* of supplies and even covered lunch for our staff! We are grateful for a community partner that is so invested in our mission and cares for our team members too. Thank you Kalfus & Nachman!! - Portsmouth Humane

This month's pet is Howl-o-ween, a young male shorthaired cat with lots of love to give! Howl has been with us since, you guessed it, October. He's a sweet, loving cat who started his journey here with severe skin issues. After struggling to diagnose and treat his skin problems, we found that Howl-o-ween is FIV+, which means that his immune system doesn't work as well as the immune system of other cats. Now that his skin issues have been resolved, Howl-o-ween is ready for a home of his own! He loves people and gets along with other pets.
