After earning his undergraduate degree with honors at The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Chris graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, one of the top law schools in the country. While a law student, Chris worked as a law clerk for the 16th Judicial Circuit Court, and Chris was on the editorial staff of the Virginia Journal of Law and Technology.
After graduation, Chris held a successful trial practice in Virginia for several years before joining Kalfus & Nachman, PC in 2007.
Chris works hard to obtain favorable results for those injured or harmed by the carelessness of others. Chris is also an advocate for consumers' rights and employees' rights. He zealously fights for his clients who are involved in business or personal disputes, and has brought multiple civil litigation matters to favorable verdict.
Not just an effective courthouse attorney, Chris also is part of Kalfus & Nachman's Social Security Disability team. Thanks to his careful representation and constant habit of preparation, Chris has brought about favorable results for hundreds of people previously denied disability.
Chris regularly contributes to the practice of law, and this experience benefits his clients. He is a member of the Norfolk-Portsmouth Bar Association, the Virginia Beach Bar Association, and the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, where he is active on the membership committee. Chris frequently publishes articles on legal topics, and has taught locally on the subject of contract law. Chris also volunteers in an advocacy clinic representing victims of domestic abuse. As part of his contribution to victim's rights, Chris previously served as a member of the Virginia State Bar's Committee on Lawyer Advertising and Solicitation.
Chris is a member of Great Bridge Presbyterian Church and lives in Chesapeake, Virginia. He enjoys travel and spending time with his family.
